The Problem We Solve

In many communities across Vietnam, young people grow up with limited access to safe sport, mentors, and opportunities to develop confidence and life skills.

Talent exists everywhere — opportunity does not.

Without positive outlets, guidance, and role models, too many young people are left behind, not because they lack potential, but because they lack support.

Gieo Mầm (meaning “to plant seeds”) is a community impact initiative using rugby as a tool for growth.

We work with local partners to deliver:

Structured rugby sessions that are safe, inclusive, and fun
Life skills development — teamwork, discipline, communication, resilience
Positive role models and mentors from their local community
A sense of belonging for young people who need it most

Gieo Mầm is not about creating elite athletes. It’s about creating stronger, more confident young people.

However, our players DO benefit from joining the wider rugby community which we are building and growing - including vocational training and technical rugby training and education.
